Plain was a word that could describe me in almost every way as I grew up and even into adulthood - my clothes, my hair, my classroom - all the things. My mom worked hard and did some holiday decorating but nothing major. Decorating was not on my radar - it didn't spark joy. When I bought my first house in 2020, something changed. I embraced decorating and developed my own style—combining meaningful objects and memories with typical decor. The change continued to evolve as I welcomed my boyfriend and his two sons into my life. He helped me create this site to share my hobby—it isn’t a “How to” or a DIY site but rather a collection of ideas that might inspire others to find their own decor style.
